Martell VSOP Médallion (‘Very Superior Old Pale’) bears a gold medallion engraved with the portrait of Louis XIV and commemorates the year 1715 – the birth of the House of Martell. This cognac is made with skilfully blended, mature eaux-de-vie from the four finest terroirs of the Cognac region.
Martell VSOP Cognac is made from a carefully orchestrated blend of mature eaux-de-vie from the most exclusive terroirs of the Cognac region, aged to perfection in oak casks. Darker, fuller-bodied and overall more complex than the VS, it’s smooth and mellow, with base notes of caramelised fruits and prunes, complemented by a floral, nutty aroma and a satisfying drydown. Ideal for sipping neat or mixing up into a variety of cognac-based cocktails.
